We have built up a good relationship with a number of suppliers of field surveying equipment and can source the equipment at competitive rates.
For our own field survey operations, we tend to us Tablet PCs with built-in GPS for approximate positioning and Laser Rangefinders for more accurate mapping.
With regards to the plotting of trees and other asset data, higher specification GPS can be considered, but we generally recommend a Tablet PC with built in GPS used in conjunction with a laser rangefinder is the best option.
